The scope of the problem of territory contamination by mines and explosive remnants of the war in Ukraine is very extensive. Even before the full-scale war, Ukraine was the fourth country in the world in terms of the number of landmine victims in 2020. It would take at least 15 years to clear the affected territories in Ukraine. The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that due to the actions of the invaders, an area of 300,000 square kilometers or half of Ukraine is dangerous. Therefore, our company has a number of vacancies:

Requirements:

  • Man / woman
  • at least 18 years old
  • Good physical fitness and readiness to work in the field for mine clearance of territories
  • No criminal record
  • Readiness for frequent travels within Ukraine
  • Disciplined approach
  • Willingness to be trained at the mine action center at the expense of the company (2 months), if the candidate does not have a certificate of a humanitarian demining sapper. See the TRAINING section.

Desirable requirements:

  • Availability of the humanitarian demining sapper certificate
  • Experience in humanitarian demining work for government agencies or international organizations.

Duties:

  • Clearing mines and explosive objects from the designated area under the supervision of the team leader
  • Searching for mines and explosive objects using search equipment
  • Carrying out maintenance and control of personal equipment
  • Strict compliance with the rules and methods for working with explosive objects, standards of operating procedures and full compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements:

Medical Officer of Humanitarian Demining Unit

Requirements:

  • Man / woman
  • Readiness for frequent travels within Ukraine
  • Medical education in the surgery field
  • Practical work experience

Duties:

  • Examination and health check of the unit sappers before humanitarian demining operations
  • Providing the necessary first aid to victims of injuries and accidents, which can be both mine explosive injuries and injuries sustained in the workplace
  • Stabilization of the victim's condition at the scene and monitoring of condition throughout the process of medical evacuation
  • Keeping a record of pharmaceuticals
  • Receipt and issuance of medical supplies
  • Checking the expiration dates of medical materials and medicines and ensuring their necessary replacement
  • Kitting and maintaining the completeness of personal first aid kits
  • Recording the cases of illness or injury
